Last night, I made a wonderful concoction for cold season for my son and husband. This tea helps to boost the immune system and is great if you drink it when you start to the feel the symptoms of a cold.

1 part Dried or Powdered Echinacea
1 part Dried or Powdered Goldenseal
1 part Dried Mullein
Tsp of honey
1 lemon slice

Bring water to a boil. Add echinacea, goldenseal, and mullein. Cover and turn off heat. Let steep for 15 minutes then drain herbs and serve with lemon and honey.

*Optional-
Adding orange juice to the tea is a great way to include Vitamin C, essential this time of year!
Add a pinch of cayenne pepper to your tea as it is great for your circulatory system and helps relieve a sore throat.

For best results, consume 2-4 times a day depending on severity of symptoms. Enjoy!
